The short version. We only collect what we need to run webinars, courses and bookings. We don't sell it. You can ask us to see it or delete it at any time.
Who we are
AI Confidence Coach is run by Paul Rudland. For anything about your data, email hello@aiconfidencecoach.uk.
What we collect, and why
- Webinar sign-ups: your name, email and the session you picked, so we can send the joining link, reminders and follow-up.
- Bookings: your name, email, phone if you give it, and the time you chose, so we can hold the slot and contact you about it.
- Courses and the members' area: your email, your login, what you've bought and your progress through lessons. Anything you type into course tools is stored so you can come back to it.
- Payments: handled by Stripe. We see your name, email and what you bought. We never see your full card number.
- Enquiries and feedback forms: whatever you write to us.
- The chat on our site: your messages are sent to an AI service to write a reply. Please don't put personal details in it.
The legal basis is either the contract you've entered (a course or booking), or our legitimate interest in replying to you and telling you about similar things you've signed up for. You can stop marketing emails at any time with the unsubscribe link.
Who else handles it
We use trusted services to run the site: Railway (hosting), Supabase (database and logins), Stripe (payments), Resend (sending email), Zoom (webinars), Anthropic (AI replies and course tools) and ElevenLabs (the optional voice interview). Some of these store data outside the UK, under standard contract terms that protect it.
Cookies
- A login cookie, so the members' area knows it's you.
- A
visitor_idcookie, so we can see whether someone who clicked a webinar or course link went on to sign up. It lasts six months and isn't shared with advertisers. - A cookie that remembers a webinar offer you've been given, for 30 days.
We don't use advertising cookies.
How long we keep it
Webinar and enquiry details: up to two years after we last heard from you. Customer and payment records: six years, because the tax rules require it. Members' area accounts: while you have access, or until you ask us to close it.
Your rights
You can ask to see what we hold, to correct it, to delete it, or to stop us using it. Email us and we'll deal with it within a month. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
